This elite level 8:1 Downhaul System uses the titanium sheaved Harken 29mm FLY block at the top of the primary (the highest loaded block), with a Harken 18mm carbo block just below.  Lower block/strop uses Harken 29mm carbo block.  This system configuration was originally built for a competitor for the Tokyo Olympics.   As well as being incredibly smooth running, the smooth side profile of the Harken 29mm FLY top block also helps minimise snags in the gooseneck area.

This top of the range downhaul system is available with a choice of Robline Polytech or the premium Marlow GP78 secondary control line, both of which have a Dyneema® SK78 core and blended Technora®/Polyester cover for durability and grip.  Robline Polytech is a flexible line.  Marlow GP78 is a slightly stiffer line but is more durable and well suited for the downhaul system.

Primary line is 4mm SK78 Dyneema.
